| Ok so here are some updates- I’m having so much trouble uploading pics.
Don seems to be having major successes at work. She congratulated him in a post.
Tens cooks for him all day every day. They escape to dinner dates as much as they can in between busy kid life and work.
They took all 5 kids to Utah for the gay wedding.
They hosted a cookie party for the holidays and Tens’ ex husband was there also and in pics. Not sure if Jen was also there.
They took a little trip to Puerto Rico just the two of them.
They all seem to be really enjoying the new house and pool as a family. She called them all the Brady bunch minus one a few times.
Her wedding ring is large and of course blue to match the first band. |

| Do you think it has finally dawned on her that life with Donald and his family wasn't so bad after all. Her lonely life is not what she had expected it to be. Too bad Gene, you shouldn't have gone all mental on Donald.
Donald has found happiness while you are left with what should have been.
If she was there for 10 days I suppose we have 3 more mountains and gravel to suffer through.
Oh for the good old days when she wore make up and nail polish.
When she showed us her clothes she had for a decade and still wore.
Where she mentioned her watch and jewellery by name and showed us how she prepared for the coming parties.
When she showed us her shopping and what she had baked.
More interestingly was how she decorated for each season and holiday.
I realised that she was shallow, lightweight, childlike but I watched it for a break from my reality. She didn't intrude into my life but I didn't find her annoying. However, now that her life has gone down the tube so has her channel. |

| Speaking of Jen and work  , as I was scrubbing my own toilets and tubs today I wondered if World Traveler Jen has reduced the frequency of her cleaning services. I mean, she only ever hired out the housework as an act of charity for those less privileged, so surely she didn’t cut back on their hours simply because she was mostly away from home! #AltruisticLikeJen
Jen: As you know, my circumstances have changed. I’m now a struggling solo mama, and I’m sure you can relate to having a tight budget. Since I’ll be hiking in Italy for two weeks, I won’t need you for a while.

| Looking back on my hiking experience Jen must be an exception to the rule seeing how she can hike all of this multiple days back to back without any major muscle pain or messed up feet. One thing she did get right is that walking down is much harder than walking up. This is where I personally have the worst muscle cramps for days after a whole day hike. One timeIt was so bad I actually want to go to the doctor because I literally couldn’t sit down on the toilet without screaming in pain from my muscle aches. Or walk down a hill or stairs to my calves. Oh I know is if I am hiking six hours a day no matter how well prepared I am or what kind of shoes I have I’m gonna end up with some type of blister that’s going to really hurt my game where I’m not hiking that much the next day.

Once had the misfortune of sitting in a bus with a couple of Americans tourists who proudly claimed to have lived a decade in Mexico and never learned a word of Spanish.
Then proceeded to critique the fact that the street names where they were heading were in French and hard to understand. In a French-speaking city.
Jen probably sounded like that in Italy. |

In the Italy vlogs with Don, they are sitting in the Milan train station and she says that she’s been there before (what I can’t remember is, if she meant Italy or Milan) on a trip with a friend. I think I remember her implying it was a backpacking style eurotrip. I’m guessing she knocked out all those cities in that trip (the cities she mentions are a very common route for eurotrippers) plus Venice and Lake Como with Don.
IIRC there was some speculation at the time that she was either exaggerating or completely making up that Euro trip with a friend, too. I remember Don looking at her as if he'd never heard that story before, which is odd for a couple who'd been together as long as they had. It's also odd that it was the first time Jen had ever mentioned that trip on her channel. But who knows. |
