Perhaps she thought she was looking at a lifetime of infertility. And that was the "loss"
I'm thinking Jen would be most upset about something involving JEN. Even if Don went broke, she would just go home to her mom and dad and start over. That's exactly what I thought it was too! The psychology, her actions, and phrasing fit perfectly. Unfortunately, it doesn't fit the timeline at all. According to Jen's I'm Pregnant video, she didn't even see a fertility doctor until late fall 2014, nearly six months after the "poop" video. The polyps were diagnosed a month after she saw the doctor (so 7 months after the poop video).
I think it could fit, unless I am missing something. Let's say she had a very early miscarriage. Maybe her regular OB said this happens, it's common, here are some causes (mentions polyps which are also relatively common), keep trying, let's see what happens. She tries for six more months into 2014, and then went to the fertility specialist.
