    What if Don's been moved out for awhile? They had a refinance or something on their mortgage. It could have been to get some cash to buy another house or condo. Also, the grandparents have such an intricate schedule to visit and take the kids to school. Heck, Don has a schedule for spending time with his own kids (pancake Sunday is it?). They may not even know, it may be like that because "Don's away on work" so often. As long as he shows up to family events and puts in time with the kids he and Jen may be te only ones that know. <---- just a thought
