.I am sad that Meat Loaf died. My dad was a really big fan of his, so I got him a Cameo from him for Christmas last year. Meat Loaf recorded a nearly 40 minute video for my dad, told him stories from the road, info about some of his songs, AND he sang to him! It was epic.
I have such great memories of the Bat Out Of Hell album from college. I hear he was an anti vax/masker. I sincerely hope it wasn’t COVID.. -

In the video that he made for my father, he said that he had been suffering from tremendous back pain and had undergone many surgeries. I do not know if that was related to his death in any way obviously, but at least he isn't suffering any longer.. -

I saw Meat Loaf many times live.
The last time at his farewell concert tour in 2012 here in the UK.
He had had a double knee replacement in 2011.
He will be sorely missed.. -
