I agree. I feel if they could truly afford the home, we would see that in other ways too... new (pricier) furniture, more furniture, a renovation other than painting just the living room. They seem house poor.
And why does she do the minimum for everything? Minimal Christmas decorations, minimal birthday parties, minimal everything? I understand everyone prioritizes everything differently but everything in her life seems minimal. Except her and her husbands clothes and shoes and accessories.

That’s exactly right: they’re cheaping on the small-scale furniture, kids’ things and home maintenance, yet she wants us to believe she’d ACTUALLY pay for and wear a $550 blazer to her “job”’upstairs. Yeah right.

Me too! I live in the Midwest and even if it’s considered “safe” I wouldn’t let my kids out there either. Our winter has been unseasonably mild so far.
And her asinine comment that the Midwest rarely has blue skies in the winter is just plain wrong. But she “knows things”...stfu you ignorant cow.

FFS, of course we have blue skies in the winter in the Midwest
Its just usually accompanied by 0 degree air temps and -20 windchills.
This “heat wave” is not normal but blue skies aren’t a rarity. So get your kids off the lake K8. It’s not frozen deep enough yet.
