Someone mentioned in the old thread that they have been using the Vitamin C serum and really liked it... That's the only product that I have heard that really does what it's supposed to (although I think you can find a well-formulated vitamin c for much less). The fact that their retinol is a relatively new product and they've been marketing themselves as an anti-aging line blows my mind. Retinol, Vitamin C, and a chemical exfoliant (I like the TLC Framboos thing but it's way too expensive for how effective it is) are the three cornerstones of any anti-aging routine. And Jen has lost a ton of collagen, so I would get a more intense Hyaluronic Acid product than what DE offers and maybe yes, some fillers.
I have a friend who swears that DE is a total sham and that none of it really works. While I think the line is probably awesome for younger women in their teens and twenties, I agree that Jen needs something stronger and probably medical grade. She looks much older than her age.
I wonder if the product you receive depends on where you order it from.
In a recent ig story, Laura Vitale said she once ordered her favorite shampoo from Amazon and the product had been removed from the bottle by the seller, and replaced with cheap shampoo. She said that happens so be careful where you order your products.. -

A beauty blogger I follow did a poll on IG about overhyped products, and the *overwhelming* majority responded DE. She posted a clip of pages of responses saying DE, and these are beauty people! Jen needs to move on to clean beauty.. Super surprised she hasn’t . -

The owners of DE are assholes and personally, I think their products are shit. Their vitamin C serum is a L’oreal Knockoff, so that tells you about the overpricing of it all.
After seeing Jen’s skin age this rapidly, it confirms (to me at least) that it’s just overpriced shit.
I’ll stick with my tried and true Estée Lauder advanced night repair.. -

Regarding DE, I'm 100% convinced they're a poor copy of La Roche Posay which is a drugstore item and actually effective, just comes in that classic packaging instead of the hipster DE.. -

Products aside (I’ve never personally tried DE), I wonder if Jen’s “ plant-based diet” has played a role in her rapidly-aging face. Either way - diet, products, or mindset - she looks quite a bit worse than she did a year ago. 🙈
ETA: hydration could be another root cause, although she seems to drink a lot (you know, smoothies and such 😀)

DE is a total sham. It's soooo overpriced for very mediocre. I could give less expensive/better result dupes for almost everything in their line
The fact that they charge $70+ dollars for MARULA OIL was what clued me in to their BS. -
