I have watched all of the Don videos and it seems like quite a reach to say he has a drinking problem. Am I missing something? He seems like the equivalent of a “tired housewife having a glass or two of wine.”
On her old vlogs-pre kids....he was drinking all the time
They have a HUGE Alcohol table for EVERY family get together
I think he is working SO MUCH MORE now, that she is overwhelmed with no "me time" except her runs in the AM when kids at preschool. -

I think there's something bad going on within their marriage. Not sure if there's a divorce on the horizon or not. Let's just say I've put back some money for my train ticket. Just in case. If the observation car is full, I'll take the dining car. Maybe we can sit boy girl, boy girl and sing some songs.
What book did she read about "comfort tokens" in??? WTF is she doing with herself. Crawling so far into her own head again that she can't see how extremely lucky she is. Ok, maybe Don isn't the greatest and I'm not saying she should "settle" but...he's provided a very nice roof over her head, she has a brand new car to drive (and, if they still lease through the company she gets one every 3 years), she has clothes on her back and food in her kitchen. She has two healthy children and the time and money to go on family vacations. I don't understand her at all.
BUT....the most important thing is (and I think someone else mentioned this waaaay back in the last thread) SHE CLAIMED TO HAVE CURED HERSELF FROM HER ANXIETY MONTHS AGO. And then she fired Judith, went to Oregon, cried all night one night she was there and now it's back.
Question - did she go to Oregon *before* she got her new therapist? Or was that in between Judith and the new one?
I picked up that reference to White Christmas!. -

Jen firing her therapist after doing the bare minimum--phone sessions--is lol and classic Jen. She was too lazy to get DAT ASS over to the office in person and Judith enabled it for 4 years. They both suck.

Don has been very tipsy, at 4pm, on vodka cran in a lot of her vlogs. But he worked from home then so once the Market closes at 3 (local time) he probably stopped too.
I think she's had to drive instead of him, pick him up after some type of sports thing, and let him spent the night places due to drinking too much. Didn't she have to drive them around a resort in a golf cart because down was "tiddly".
I also thought Jen's constant referrals (back in the day) about her not drinking, and making a big deal about "no drinky for me" way before she was trying to get pregnant, was a knock at Don's enjoyment of libations.. -

I don’t think having a stocked bar means he was an alcoholic. It was for parties. Shit, back in the day every house had a liquor cabinet.
As for a drink after work, that’s not a big deal. We’ve seen him drink maybe a total of 20 times in 10 years. It’s really not that big a deal.

.maybe "things are unfolding" means she is choosing even MORE me time. she's decided to become a solo travel blogger like Allison/Amarixe. she's tired of catering to everyone else's needs all the time and never doing anything for herself. 2020 is going to be all about Jen dammit!

No. But I bet she never got her groove back after the kids and their sex life is non existent these days (as in birthdays and anniversary kind of drought). That would put a HUGE strain on their relationship.. -

She said she ended the (professional) relationship with Judith - was that so they could start a personal one? Moon lesbian? Weren't the flowers signed "J?" Maybe that's the "friend" she's opening up to.

I’m with you. I’m not getting on anyone’s case for drinking on vacation (especially since she drove everywhere), a semi retired working from home guy having a cocktail while he grilled or drinking at a family party in his home.
I have no idea what he drinks these days now that he works out of the house because she rarely shows him. But I do know that SHE is back to cocktails a few nights per week based on the food journal she showed..
