Great title - as always
I was just wondering if Jen will get her therapist paid for in the settlement. If not, maybe she will just have to muddle through on her own. She can always call me - I'm retired and have lots of time to chat.

LOL, nice title
I'm obviously in the minority but the Patreon idea didn't really make me bat an eye. Lots of financially healthy YTers have been pushing Patreon for their content for years.
I didn't get the vibe that she was trying to beg for money like she is poor in that video, I got the impression she is acting like "help me learn how to monetize my hobby because my money is suddenly not growing as fast on our money tree". I found it more snotty than beggy.
Also, some people earlier seemed to have the impression they would be seeing her Patreon content shoved in their face all of the time but that isn't how it works. You have to be a Patreon to have access to their Patreon channel.
It wouldn't work for her because you have to offer more unique content to satisfy your Patreons plus your regular content to keep your regular viewers interested. She doesn't have the stamina for creating that much content regularly.
She would be better off using her channel to promote her blog and start actually creating something people would buy like digital downloads for planners or organization or something. I actually think she *could* launch something like that and be successful because she has a pretty decent following now and people will buy anything, but she just isn't a worker bee and it takes real effort.

Don left so he could take a bath in clean fresh water, not in Jen’s recycled bath water. Still ewwwweew that she even shared that with us once.

She really should create some kind of planner pages or something that could be digitally downloaded. She spends a little time creating whatever, puts together a “shop” page on her website, & then she’s done - but she’s paid every time someone downloads the items.

I'll say something nice and point out that she did demonstrate decent work ethic--for Jen--when she was vlogging almost constantly. She actually made filming & editing her job (for 1 month stretches at a time). I know, I know, she's more inefficient than a turtle and it's laughable to real grown ups with real jobs, but that was the most dedication that Jen seemed to show to anything. But she goes too hard (17 blogs, anyone?) and then burns herself out & completely loses interest in her hobbies. She only likes the attention from posting on social media, not the work or the interacting. I don't even think she has the willpower or drive to get back to the golden days of her YT presence. But this new, poverty-stricken Jen is a whole new woman!

I guess time will tell. She is fortunate to be living in a time where you can work from home if you put some energy into, it's half way started already-- she has the viewers, she has the platform and the brand.
She only has to take it further. Time will tell. I don't see her getting out there and working amongst people. lol

Since we asked & got our IL attorney, I'm gonna ask Santa to send us an IRS employee who has access to DKRIII's (or Poopsie for a cherry on top) tax return. Knowing this family's finances would help all of us sleep better at night.
WHAT THE FRICK IS THIS SEASONALLY INAPPROPRIATE MUG? Poor, single mother Jen can't afford a mid-January mug. ~Sending thoughts & prayers~
