She is desperately clinging to these cringey women, because nobody else will have her as a friend, and she has rejected everyone else.
Her misery is likely off the charts, but no matter how selfish you are, it helps to unload your misery onto someone who will listen.
I am really curious to see how will all of this unfold.

And, conveniently, Jen does actually look fit and petite in comparison to those three. Perhaps she "conveniently" had them in town on the same day as the party so she could yet again try to show Don what he left. Yes, I totally think he left her. Even with Jen's oddball behavior I am really not getting the strong woman who decided to leave a bad situation vibe. I'm getting the my husband left me and I'm trying to spin this narrative so I look good vibe.
