I remember that. he definitely wasn't impressed but was somewhat trying to say the right thing 
I always got the impression that they both thought the other was an idiot. he thought she was a little girl that needed head pats for doing basic things. she thought he was a big dummy who couldn't even change light bulbs. just no respect from either side. what a wonderful marriage that must have been
