I dont think shes planning to stay in the house...or shes knows she'll be forced to leave it. Maybe that's why shes finding it hard to be motivated to keep it tidy....and all the memories there. It must be hard.
As for still being so friendly with Don's family- either he did something terrible and they feel for her or she's being lured into a trap for something later.
