While watching her EC review today, it dawned on me that we have been watching two entirely different people. Jen and Don aren’t getting back together. I think that’s mainly because he doesn’t want to. There’s no way a man goes from the level of adoration that he had to nothing without some real damage to the relationship. This started from the moment Charlotte was born and Jen did her best to shut him out. She went way off the deep end with the controlling behavior, obsessively tracking stats and following rigid routines. There was a lot of talk about how C was a “Mama’s girl” and insinuations that Don was basically absent and useless (even though that clearly wasn’t true). Then there was the bitterness. So much bitterness, meticulously recorded for posterity in every planner, journal, and December Daily. She hated her life as a mother and resented him for it. Anyone who’s feeling sentimental about their relationship should take a retrospective look at the videos and blog posts of the past few years.

The only noteworthy thing was from 32:45 when she completely loses her shit over the hole punching of the binder. I was washing dishes & letting the video play & had to stop what I was doing once she starts ranting. She was horrified and unabashedly shames EC personally! This entitled little shit .
