You’d be surprised. My mom got mad at me for a brief moment after my dad died, met with the lawyer with my sister and cut me out of the trust entirely, leaving my entire portion to my son. It’s fine, and he won’t know he’s a trust fund baby until he’s an adult (hopefully), but people do weird things.

It's not surprising though. As I said before, one thing was always going to be true. Nearly ANY house was going to be nicer than the ugly brown one they lived in.

I’m enjoying all the speculation but I’m not weighing in on yay or nay. (I was on the hayride all the way over the cliff, so my detective skills are clearly a bit off.)
All I’ll say is Jen is obviously in a nice “space”, far better than she deserves. She honed in on a well-off young man who was infatuated with her, married him for his money, gave birth to her two insurance policies even though she was already planning her departure, then shut down her wonderland. And that is simply cold and calculating.
