Wait. What is this thread for?
Are we abandoning the old one?Where are the "after" photos from her post? They all look like "before". 🙄
Yes, they do 🤦. -

We typically limit threads to 60 pages. Sometimes we miss some and they go longer. That’s why I started a new thread for this person today.. -

Ok, thank you . -

Kate said new video Monday. Maybe it'll be more clear? The fridge by the bathroom is new. It's a tiny kitchen. I'd probably buy a couple free standing pantry cabinets with doors. I'm not a fan of open shelving at all. Some people love them- to me they are hard on the eyes and too dusty.

She put the refrigerator next to the bathroom. I don't know what is worse, that or the shelves? At least a fridge has doors?🤷
I use my coat closet for extra food storage during hurricane season since the garage is too hot and easy for vermin to find. No open shelves, everything sealed and contained. Plus, the door shuts. No one has coats in the summer, so nobody knows the food is there when they visit. She could do something like that and it wouldn't be such an eyesore.
I wonder if all the food is because of her WinCo gift cards. She really doesn't need soooo much food! But, if it's free.... -

I was being snarky. It still looks like a disorganized mess.😉. -

I can’t find anything encouraging to say about that kitchen. I’ve looked and looked and honestly, if my realtor showed me that house I would have walked right out that back door.
Any solution I can come up with would make it all even weirder. Isn’t there another bathroom off her pantry? So both bathrooms are at the opposite ends of the house to the bedrooms?
She should have just left that island at the old house. I mean, it’s probably the closest thing to a decent piece of furniture in the place but it doesn’t work no matter how many times she ping pongs it around that kitchen.. -
.
Arlee85 ewww I forgot that the other bathroom is right near her new food storage space. Yuck!
The island does not belong in the kitchen. It's too bulky. She has quite a bit of cabinetry. I wonder what she has in them. Why can't she fit everything she needs for a family of four in the cabinets so the counters can be cleaner?
Now food? An additional closed cabinet for storage would be ideal.
Ok, the more I look at her kitchen I wonder what on Earth does she have inside her wall cabinets? It's irked me for a while and then I realized that growing up we used to keep all of our canned goods in the wall cabinets and use them as pantries. What the hell does she have in them that she can't use them for food? At least for the small items.
All a family of four needs is one full set of dishes and glassware, some utensils, and some casserole dishes. Maybe a few pots and pans but she mainly uses cast iron, so what else could she possibly have in there? It's driving me crazy 🤪. -

Both bathrooms are off the kitchen? There's not one neer the bedrooms? Omg..yuck . -
.
There's the blue one and the one they built in the sunken room before you are in the backyard. I guess the mudroom? I think that's where she's storing the food now. . -
.
So both bathrooms are being used right off room where food is stored and cooked? .
