I had a Simple Human in my last kitchen...loved it, it matched the appliances, however didn't understand the purpose of their bags, after using the samples that came with it I just got my bags at Costco. They are the best! We now are in a house with a pull out for trash and recycling. After seeing how grungy it gets around the cans I can't believe anyone would think it ok to store clean plates in there.

Just watched the video. I watched her in 1.5x speed. I am tired of her slow speaking. Her voice gives me a headache.
She claims to be an organizing guru, but her kitchen just seems so out of order, IMO.
Why has she not unpacked her "office"? She's been living there almost 4 months already. That would drive me nuts to have boxes sitting around for that long.

Re: Jen and the trash plates.
She could have easily stored Winnie's food next to the trash cans.
The kids could have accessed it there if she wants them to learn how to feed her.
But rather than taking anyone's advice when she showed the kid's stuff next to the trash, she acted like a child.
Dug in her heels, crossed her arms across her chest, stomped her foot and said "NO! I don't WANT TO!"
So while she could easily make the switch and put Winnie's stuff next to the trash, she never will.
She will never admit she was wrong on that - or anything else for that matter.
I think this is why she can't deal with parenting her children more than a few hours a week.
She's exactly like them.
How can she possibly know how to handle a child when she is one herself?
Just a spoiled little child who's never been told "no" or that she isn't always right, things won't always go her way, and sometimes you have to grow up and compromise and put others needs before your own.

Here is why Jen's content sucks (among a million other reasons). First, this is the 90th billion video of her kitchen with two more promised to come. TWO! That is the very definition of insanity or, at least, not reading the room. Second, although the topic was boring as hell i was mildly interested because I was thinking about putting some pullouts in some of my cabinets. However, I learned nothing. Besides showing me the product initially, Jen did nothing to explain it. Did those dividers come with the product? Do you have to buy them separately? How long were the screws? Did they come out the bottom of the shelf? (My fear). No, she sped all of that up not explaining anything except where she keeps her beans and spent 1/3 of the video, if not more, going over where every item was before she put in the pullouts after we already SAW AN ENTIRE VIDEO ABOUT THAT.

I agree. I had similar pull out shelves put in when I had my kitchen redone about 14 years ago, but it would have been interesting to see how you could fit them in to a standard cupboard, but we learned nothing about that. Also it was just fitting them in on the existing shelves. There still seems to be a lot of wasted space in that “pantry”.

The reason Jen doesn't unpack and organise her office is because she doesn't need it. She does nothing all day. Obviously anything she does do can be done in the kitchen. Or on the yoga mat.
