Jen is probably one of the only women in her age bracket who isn’t familiar with Link. Legend of Zelda has been around forever, and she’s old enough to at the very least have played the SNES version, if not the original. So her trying to be snarky by grunting “don’t even ask” just shows how odd/out of touch she is. Legend of Zelda isn’t some niche super obscure nerdy franchise...it’s pretty mainstream. Ugh, she sucks, but little CC is warming my heart with her excitement even though her mom is a total turd in a punch bowl. . -

I don’t know, Jen, but I’m going to go out on a limb here & suggest that, if you ever bothered to engage w/ CC beyond baking in the kitchen & stop making everything all about you, then you & your daughter might have a special “thing” too that she may have ended up wanting to be for Halloween.

Farmer Jeff might just be the biggest asshole out of the Big Three of Jen, Don, and Jeff.

The story does have a Princess (the eponymous Zelda) but you play as Link, the warrior, so i think that is awesome CC wants to be him for Halloween

I don't think you can take custody away from a mom because she's less fun and more annoying. There are plenty of kids in worse parental situations than CC and Donny. She and Don seem to have a 50/50 split now.. -

CC is smart and will accomplish so many things. Jen will not be able to handle that as a complete and unredeemable loser.
