Have we ever seen Vincente? I picture him like Eldon on the old Murphy Brown show. Always around painting and doing handyman stuff.

No she got the people who installed the can lights to do it since they were there. The furniture delivery people would not move other furniture or hang things. It’s for liability reasons.. -

[QUOTE=crabwalklikedon,16/11/2020, 00:14 ?t=61929031&st=510#entry448386723] All this talk of single mama Jen moving large furniture on her own is making me reminisce about Don’s crab walking while carrying furniture. Is that how he messed up his back? Does anyone still have that GIF? It never gets old.
You rang lo!

CrabWalkLikeDon, you’re the best! Thank you. 😂. -
.QUOTE (EyerollOlympian @ 11/15/2020, 05:11 PM)I’ve chalk painted several pieces of furniture (large and small) and I’m getting ready to do another. It is not chalkboard paint It’s not *that* hard to do. You don’t have to use wax on it it seal it. A clear polycrylic seals it and protects it. That also allows you to repaint later if you wish. The wax isn’t permanent. It eventually kind of rubs off and you need to redo it.
I will pay to see Jen use poly coat.
I bet she doesn’t. Unless she reads here and now knows she should.. -
.
Also, I don't think Jen cares about having friends
She thinks she's supposed to want them because everyone else has them
But she a cold robot and would be happy being alone with her dog for the rest of her life. -
.
Why did she mix grey& pink paint together? . -

I have used both wipe on and brush on Polyurethane coats on several pieces I have at home. Including a rather large oak dining table and all the chairs. I tell ya, if one lives through that, one is a hero.
I so want her to try tho, so I can enjoy the mess.. -

Wow, she was really slumming back then. Hershey cocoa powder in her protein smoothie. How does one go from being married to a 1%er finance whiz consuming Hershey cocoa powder to struggling single mama compiling a curated collection of overpriced chocolate, coffee & tea advent calendars. She’s truly failing up.. -

So it’s been years since I refinished any furniture—and nothing big...what’s the horror with polyurethane?. -
.
I often find being around people to be exhausting (true social anxiety), but I can’t imagine Jen’s lonely existence. She has managed to push away everyone, including her own children (to the soup kitchen now—later it will be by their choice). I’m not saying I wouldn’t love some ME free time occasionally with nobody to bother me, but not every dang day. . -

Awh thanks - you’re sweet. I’m always here but don’t comment too often. Wanted to say thanks everyone for keeping me entertained - Im recovering from a bout of the shingles which I got a few days after my mam had her knee replaced (talk about timing) and in a pandemic in a level 5 lockdown - but we shall keep on trucking :o). My sympathy for Jen is quite low but you are all BRILLIANT!!!. -

There is no way that 8 chairs and that table extended will be comfortable in that space. I hope she jsuszes it a bit, cause as is it's totally bland in there. . -

You’re welcome (j/k). I think I’m hitting the wall....stuck at home teleworking for the last 8 months with a 3rd grader who’s been homeschooling since March was not on my 2020 bingo card.. -

I think polycrylic is different than polyurethane? It’s very watery and to quote TiffanyD it’s so easy..
