She made a huge mistake changing the bench in front of the fireplace from white to black. The fireplace is already a disaster... drawing more attention to it with a stark colour was a moronic choice.
She could have made it work (I say “work” very loosely) had she left the bench alone and added a chunky wood mantel. Also some vases and/or a basket with chunky blankets in it at either end of the bench to break up the cold wall of tile. It needs warmth. An all neutral home can be beautiful, but it needs wood and layered textures to make it work with her existing shit. That fireplace wall looks like a mausoleum wall crypt.

It's hysterical to me that Jen moved from one bizarre fireplace to another
I know there are some people who liked her old one, and at this point, I definitely prefer it

It's hard to look at

I was going to say the last part that you mentioned...we “visited” my fil yesterday at his gravesite...which is in a mausoleum...the mausoleum actually looked cozier than jens fireplace wall.

Why does she always have such bizarre word choices? Not only does she need to "unearth" the stockings, but the garland came out of some bins she "unearthed." It was no mystery where those bins were and we have all seen your ancient label maker. You know exactly where everything is lady, quit fooling.
