My thought is Don has already moved on and probably did while separated.

They were together for so long, it’s strange that she’s already trying to look for a new man. Either they really were over a long time ago before officially divorcing and she’s checked out from that marriage, or she misses having someone that has to talk to her each day and make food, and watch the kids for even more “me” time.
