I don’t think the marriage would have survived even without children. Jen would have been happy, but I think Don was ready to be a real adult with real children...not just a forever-5-year-old child bride. The marriage wouldn’t have lasted either way. It’s just a shame two innocent children have to suffer because their mama gave birth to 5-star meal tickets instead of admitting motherhood required sacrifices she wasn’t willing to make.
