Back to edit & add one more note:
I am a SAHM and my 3 year old goes to a nursery school program (daycare) 2 mornings per week for a total of 5 hours a week. I do this so I can have a break and so he can have social interaction. (No story times at library, play dates, mommy & me music class right now because of covid.) Do I do it because sending my kid out of the house at age 3 is soOOooO important? No. It’s MY job to encourage her to be a productive member of society. It’s not nursery/daycare’s job. Jen you are fooling no one. I’m glad someone else is doing this. After reading this board I felt like a bad mom. My husband and I work from home since March and we decided in Sept to send our 4 year old to a 3K program. It’s 2 hours MWF. It gives us a chance to get some work done/have meetings while the 1 year olds naps. They are very strict with masks, hand washing, etc. My daughter hasn’t even come home with a runny nose since Sept and no COVID+ in the class either.
Neither of you should feel badly. There’s no reason whatsoever that she uses the Soup Kitchen. She’s a SAHM who only has the kids part time. She can teach them the basics they’re learning at the SK like most parents do then use the time they are with their dad to do things that can’t be done when they are home.

Does it irk anyone how Jen does a scrunched mouth thing, like when she says the world 'TRUvia' (like the sweetener). I know this is oddly specific but it's annoying as hell. It's like a duck lips thing. I don't even know if that makes sense. I've always noticed that.

When she said so many would be impacted if she got Covid, I took it that she meant the Jenions would be lost if she couldn’t provide riveting “content” due to her illness. And we all know she would be extra, EXTRA gentle with herself and not produce any videos no matter how mild her symptoms. She’s always looking for an excuse to avoid her “job”.
Poor, sad CC. Her demeanor and apparent fear at even asking to be included gives me a good idea what goes on behind the scenes.

Let's not forget that Jen would get the test before travel because it was a requirement but she totally wouldn't quarantine until she actually traveled like she was supposed to do so visiting her folks and kids doesn't mean she didn't travel.

CC already appears to be an anxious child. I think it’s why she still self soothes by sucking on Bunsy (which she was doing when she asks “May I join you?” )
How did letting CC ask what happened to Daddy work out guys? Poor baby probably worried for days before asking.

But tee hee, it's so cute that she lines up all the objects in her bedroom to create some order in her home where parents just disappear without explanation. Organized like mama!

Illinois does not require quarantine after travel. The City of Chicago does. She does not live or work in Chicago so she does not have to follow it.
I also think the Vlogidays that she said was for Winnie’s check up was when she got her COVID test. They are done in car here for the most part.
