Also, question for the resident wiccans... what is the significance of being gifted tarot cards? Is there a specific reason you shouldn't buy your own? Will Jen be befallen of some ill effect?

Some believe that buying your own Tarot cards means that they won't work the way they are supposed to for you. Others believe that you have to touch and feel the cards before purchasing to find the deck that calls to you. Regardless, what is she going to do with them except stare at the pictures until they tell her to be gentle with herself?
