I feel like for every type of planner out there, there's the "normal" users and the "this is now my creative outlet" users. When I had a bujo I pretty much stuck to the main principles, it's basically a to do list a day. Next day, you write the new date, and copy over the stuff you didn't do before, add any appointment. It's a quick and easy way to stay organized. Not when Jen does it obviously....

I don't understand why Jen needs a planner when she does nothing. There is nothing to manage. It is like all of the fashion bloggers who constantly buy clothes, but they never go anywhere to wear the clothes.

I use a bullet journal, but I’m using it in the basic, initially intended way. I make a daily list and keep track of what needs to be done. I will make a weekly chart of appointments and meals so I can plan appropriately. I might highlight here and there, but I’m not using multiple colors or spending hours making trackers. It’s a tool. I use it as such.
