Every time Jen does something completely outlandish, for example when she announced of course I will be included in all Utah trips, and then she shows up on the RV trip of doom, I have to wonder. That is supposed to be referring to the average person, your friend or family member, and what they post online.
When you choose for your JOB to be to create content, and the vast majority of the content you create is about your personal life, people are going to make assumptions.
I follow plenty of content creators who I know nothing about their personal life, BECAUSE THEY DON’T MAKE IT PART OF THEIR CONTENT.
This isn’t rocket science. If you don’t like people judging you or making assumptions about your life, the correct answer is to remove your life from the internet. Or stop creating personal content.
Plenty of people who were big bloggers 10 years ago have just stopped and moved on with their lives and I don’t even think about them except in a passing “I wonder what happened to them.” Trust me, we’ll all move on and forget about you after awhile.
The flip side of that is you won’t have attention from ANYONE because you’ve created your own bubble.
You cannot have it both ways.
