Giving up the doll room—yet another reason to harbor resentment against your own child. Maybe Don told her the doll room could serve a dual purpose as a guest room, too, but PassiveAggressiveLikeJen decided to pack away the dolls and sulk instead. She’s the type person who would rather martyr herself and be miserable than to consider anyone else’s ideas and compromise.

Slightly OT—
I enjoy reading the Slate advice column’Dear Prudence’ (mostly for the current Prudence’s really poor advice, but I digress). Yesterday’s column had a letter from a possible Jen clone.
Her husband was overly effusive with his holiday celebrations, but was a controlling snake the rest of the time.
Anyway, that’s all I’ve got 😀

I worked with someone who was wealthy enough to pay cash for brand new cars but chose to lease. I was confused why that made sense but they said it was because they didn’t have to worry about the maintenance or anything like that.

I think she should have used that doll room in her content. She didn’t care about people calling out her other ridiculous behavior, why the dolls? I’m telling you, I would have watched her showcase seasonal displays of her AG dolls. More interesting than most of her content.

I don’t think she will go through with a paid service either. She’s too lazy to set that up too.
I think she will plan a ton of new videos and then never actually do them. Or do one or TWO! but get frustrated by feedback and quit.
She’s just promising stuff because she’s in manic stage again. She’ll crash and burn shortly and forget all this (Town Hall anyone?)

Unpopular opinion coming through! 
I don’t think doll collecting is weird. Why do people collect art if not just as something pleasant to look at? If people want to display the ever-watching soulless eyes of dolls why the heck not. But, and much likes bertha’s it’s a big but, I do think not letting your own children play with them is weird. Especially given theyre not especially rare or valuable dolls. It’s not original Barbies we’re talking here. I’m hardly surprised though, she didn’t plan on keeping the snoopy things for Charlotte or any of her jewellery. It’s better to work through the emotions you have attached to these objects instead of selling them on and pretending 16 years of your life didn’t happen.
