All I can think of is the episode of the Cosby show when Clair gets a new sofa and there’s this long sad montage of cliff with the old one saying goodbye.

Jen always shamed people with her 5 am wake up time .
What she failed to mention, is her 10pm bedtime. And Don's post midnight bed time. Which restricted time spent with him dramatically, which likely worsened 10 fold after the kids. Because she is as flexible as a steel pipe, she didn't change her precious routine.
She is very proud of her rigid routine, since that is all she has.
