I don't think Jen is a minimalist at all. She is more than happy to consume... as long as it is for herself.
Also the last thing I heard him say before I clicked off was "there are so many ways to travel cheaply... like staying in hostels.

Maybe that is why "the ballroom" is empty. She is waiting for the brown lounge and the rest of the furniture left there to be delivered to her new home.
As I don't think there will be any money coming to her from the sale of RM1 she may need to take back some junk until she has sold all of her jewellery to buy more things.
Personally, I don't think she is at all interested in her home, just herself. By that I mean her bike riding and yoga and of course , Winnie, is all she needs in her life. The rest is just clutter.. -
