She put her wedding basket right on top of those favor boxes with the pop-up animals. That kind of stuff bothers me. Just another example of her laziness, like waiting until hours before to print everything up. Do you think Emily or Susanne were pissed or didn’t care? Gene probably spent the entire time at the shower telling everyone how busy she was getting everything ready (last minute!) Gosh, I hate people like her!
And did her brother leave his birthday gift (money for a new grill that he can’t afford) at her house? So weird. I’m surprised she didn’t take that opportunity to say again that she was giving him money.

Insane that she did everything the day of the shower! Jen's entire life has been a time vortex - besides regularly exercising 1-3 hours per day I just picture her shuffling around her house back and forth aimlessly. What does she DO?!

She actually had TWO! pieces of cake (she’s eating one at goodbye time and there’s no way she didn’t have some with The Fam too).

I think I remember her saying Scott was collecting gift cards, maybe for Home Depot, to buy a gas grill. So of course she gave him the final one he needed. I can't believe she read 'Crib Through' out loud off the box for the baby hamster bottle, instead of Crib Trough, like she doesn't know what a trough is, lol. Those prank boxes were popular back then, I got one for my husband that looked like a camera to put on a fish underwater that was the perfect size to hold a package of golf balls. It fooled him at first too. I don't know how anyone in her family could think she was organized

Also what is their family obsession with the generic grocery store style sheet cakes? There's absolutely nothing wrong with them, but Jen regularly got more elaborate cupcakes and desserts for Treat Tuesday than she does for a baby shower? I would think the sugar addict would go all out with that kind of stuff.
Definitely makes sense why Jen got the ugliest cake ever made for her baby shower from Emily as payback.

Can someone explain her nephew that is in the Navy?? It’s her brother’s son, right? From a first wife? Are the girls from a second marriage? And that retched woman with the pashmina on the couch is Jill, correct?

That's not Jill, she has longer, darker hair. I believe you can see her most recently in the video for Donnie's birthday in January. I've seen people discuss Scott's family here at the Bakery but don't remember much.
ETA: Nix that, you can only hear her voice in that one.
