I know the second part is to store wood, but I hate it so much. The new version is a massive improvement, but I would have either tiled over the wood storage or enlarged the hearth.

Ok so from the last live of that person, it appears it's the new owner. I hope lurkers don't scare him into anonymity. I would love to see the transformation of the RM1.

I don’t think the furniture was bought by the new owners, they’re not even keeping the dust off it so I’d bet it’s going to the garbage. At first it was covered but in later videos there’s demo dust all over everything, if you bought the furniture you would have moved it to the front room or garage to protect it.
I’m on the fence about it being a flip, because why would you have an Easter egg hunt on a construction site?

I would pay to see Jen watch the reno videos live for the first time.
Didn't she say she loved the fireplace in RM1? And she probably thought she was being so generous leaving her 1% furniture for the new owners. She probably didn't expect them to treat it like the garbage it is.

I hope they at least donate the furniture to a single mother in need. They have Jen's new address, just dump it off in her driveway.

Since the fireplace us natural fas, why have wood? Wood burning deposits creosote, creosote causes chimney fires. If they insist on having the storage hole, put a nice seasonal flower arrangement, dried preferably, and put gas logs in the fireplace.
