I can’t believe I’m going to actually think about their sex life, but here goes:
Jen was probably Don’s only experience. If she didn’t go out of her way to guide him to what she likes, I don’t think he’d know she wasn’t satisfied. That’s 100% on both of them for not discussing it after all the years together. And no, I don’t think she was satisfied and I don’t think she realized she wasn’t until she read that book.
