I would totally agree, my fiancé got me a ‘placeholder’ ring last August and I haven’t had the time (and shops closed due to Ms. Rona) to go get a proper one yet, so no ring shaming here! BUT...given her dress sense and way of communicating and showing off her engagement on insta I would say this ring is not her taste. She looks like she likes flashy! 😂 Two things; that dress is 2 feet too short for current fashions and not to be rude but an eternity style ring as an engagement ring when he’s loaded? If they’re sapphires they’re cheap as they’re so pale. Strange.
I thought the same thing regarding the ring. I am not about to ring shame, but I would have thought the ring would have been “bigger and brighter” if that makes sense. Then again, maybe he doesn’t want a reminder of Jen and their marriage with a similar ring. And/or the sapphire ring is more his new fiancé’s taste than something big and flashy like Jen’s old ring.
