Late to the game, but I took this one with a cheap $60 Android phone. She needs to take photography classes. Surely there's a community college around here with extended adult learning classes for photography.

Community colleges are for the people at Goodwill, though.
Just have to shake my head at all that gear. She is proof positive that you can buy all the equipment in the world yet your end product will still be shit. A real creative person could make do with the camera (ONE even!) on an old smartphone and free editing software and produce something amazing. She has no eye for anything aesthetically pleasing despite that wasted art history degree and is so talentless flexing behind all of Don's money she spent on gear. Get a life, Gene.

Surely Jen could find some "schmancy" place to take photography classes. One of the art museums in my area offers photography classes. Of course that would mean having to be around strangers. Knowing Jen, she probably thinks she's already an amazing photographer & doesn't need a class.

Maybe I'm mis-remembering, but when she went to Oregon she didn't interact with all of the other people. I think it was an Ali Edwards thing where she wrote BS in her journal? I seem to remember her going off to some restaurant and eating in her room, rather than mix and mingle with those women. I'm the type who will strike up conversations in the grocery check-out line, so that's just so foreign to me.
I start conversations with random strangers in the checkout line all the time. Then again where I live everyone does the "farmer wave" while driving, whether you know the person you're driving past or not.

I think she used Don’s money to take some photography classes right? Money well spent 😅
She should be able to know at least how to correctly expose a photo and basic composition proportion. That photo is not even straight.
O/T but FFS look at this professional pianist playing a train station piano in crappy condition! Talent, hard work, dedication: look into it, Gene or better yet just go back to showing your Target hauls and Tuesday errands.
Expecting good photos, done with some effort, is perhaps forgetting the fact that back in the day when the YouTubes was new, and importantly before it was monetized, anything passed for content. Jen began under that paradigm, and likely will not change in an attempt to compete with some of the more professional content out there today.
