My friend’s parents had this car and we used to ride in the trunk when it was full with people. We loved it!

I want to spread the good word and recommend Allen Carr's book titled The Easy Way to Quit Smoking for any smokers you know who are struggling to quit. There is a free pdf version floating somewhere online too. A dear friend of mine (not Suzanne), who was a chain smoker quit after reading this book. It brings the smoker back to the mindset of a non-smoker. The smoker is encouraged to keep smoking while reading so they can see for themselves the "brainwashing" unravel while they're smoking. After he quit, my friend has been carrying copies of this book and preaching to the smokers at work and had some success stories.. -

My husband rode the hood of a car while sitting in an armchair (placed on top of the hood).
Still have to ask him why it was up there, not sure if I really want to know, though

.I have enjoyed reading everyone’s stories from childhood which, in 2021 would have got your parents and/or yourselves in so much trouble with the authorities!
One thing is for sure, even in 2070, storing your kids’ plates by the trash would still qualify as bad and negligent parenting. Jen’s selfishness and ineptitude as a parent transcends the ages.
I remember that I would frequently go and buy cigarettes for my mom and I was maybe 8? (I'm almost 44 now) it was normal back then to send your child to buy such things or day to day fresh food from small local shops at walking distance, such as bread, meat, fruit and vegetables. During summer I would stay out of the house the majority of the day playing outside or I would hike with my friends up to our fortress in ruins. Now is beautiful, restored and well kept, it's a renowned location for weddings and various events. Back then it was unkempt and dangerous to a certain extent, it was totally deserted and we would go there playing. Our parents knew we were up there and it was enough for them to know we were there. To think about it NOW, I wouldn't be so calm.. -

I seem to recall one of our previous forums on proboards did have a chat function that we enabled for a while. It was quite chaotic and most seemed to hate it. We ended up disabling the feature. It’s not available for this site though!. -
