She's had the sudden 'I must not share my children!' realisation before, but then went back to sharing them again because she's too addicted to the attention. Like when CC was a baby and she shared a nauseating amount of information, until she suddenly had an epiphany that perhaps publicly sharing personal and confidential health details about your baby was extremely irresponsible. Of course her audience got blamed for it because Jen had conveniently forgotten that she was the one who had massively overshared stuff that nobody asked for in the first place. Basically the simplified version of the Jen cycle is a constant oversharing and pulling back tug of war, where Jen's desperate need for attention is in a battle with her realisation that offering her life up for public comment will result in public comments.
