I keep thinking how bizarre it must be to be a Ross (or a Boyles) and know that this level of mental illness (like it or not, that’s what it is, this is not a well adjusted, well functioning human we’re talking about here) is not only displayed on the internet, but there are hundreds of people who are watching her create her own downfall, and create her own problems. It’s very Truman Show-esque and it’s downright bizarre.
I know some vloggers (not big ones) in real life and it’s NBD, it’s just a thing they do. If it ever created this much turmoil and angst and just bananas behavior in their real life, we’d have all stepped in by now. It’s kind of sad when you think about the fact that Jen doesn’t have a group of people who care about her enough (and know her in real life) to say it’s time to get some help and time to start living an actual life and we’re going to help you through it. And not by sending marsha’s pottery or whatever it is and expensive olive oil, but actually BEING THERE for her.
