She's had the sudden 'I must not share my children!' realisation before, but then went back to sharing them again because she's too addicted to the attention. Like when CC was a baby and she shared a nauseating amount of information, until she suddenly had an epiphany that perhaps publicly sharing personal and confidential health details about your baby was extremely irresponsible. Of course her audience got blamed for it because Jen had conveniently forgotten that she was the one who had massively overshared stuff that nobody asked for in the first place. Basically the simplified version of the Jen cycle is a constant oversharing and pulling back tug of war, where Jen's desperate need for attention is in a battle with her realisation that offering her life up for public comment will result in public comments. . -

Yes! I agree that keeping her unvaccinated kids out of Disney is a responsible decision. Letting them mingle with people who are not being careful in social gatherings is also a risk that she should be thinking about,. -

Why is she even on YouTube anymore? I know she likes the head pats from Jenions, but it seems she is getting more negative comments lately and she no longer has Don to calm her down. And she certainly isn’t earning much money from making these videos. I wonder if Judith watches them, and if so, what she thinks. Does she have any regrets about suggesting Jen start a YouTube channel? (Also, if Judith is a LCSW…she actually is a real therapist. Perhaps she should have seen a psychiatrist as well. But that would be in addition to Judith, because most psychiatrists don’t provide therapy.) It’s sad to see how she seems to be completely incapable of making friends. And it’s not because she’s an introvert. I’m about as introverted as you can be and even I have some friends who I care about and who care about me.
I think she still has custody of the kids.
She’s such a robot. Always doing the same things. Eating the same no-protein-crap over and over. I hope I never see that barfalicious bbq chickpea slop again.. -

Could’ve saved her so much money in therapy fees, because this sums it up.
I keep thinking how bizarre it must be to be a Ross (or a Boyles) and know that this level of mental illness (like it or not, that’s what it is, this is not a well adjusted, well functioning human we’re talking about here) is not only displayed on the internet, but there are hundreds of people who are watching her create her own downfall, and create her own problems. It’s very Truman Show-esque and it’s downright bizarre.
I know some vloggers (not big ones) in real life and it’s NBD, it’s just a thing they do. If it ever created this much turmoil and angst and just bananas behavior in their real life, we’d have all stepped in by now. It’s kind of sad when you think about the fact that Jen doesn’t have a group of people who care about her enough (and know her in real life) to say it’s time to get some help and time to start living an actual life and we’re going to help you through it. And not by sending marsha’s pottery or whatever it is and expensive olive oil, but actually BEING THERE for her.. -

.Whew. I'm finally caught up. I think that they still have 50/50 custody legally, but let's be serious....if you take their awake time that they aren't in school, Don has them 70/30 of THAT time. She can't wait to feed them and shove them in bed on the nights that she has them.
I also think that their custody arrangement has the Utah visits written in it.
I also think (sorry Beetrix , we usually agree, LOL) that Gene is overseas. Probably Norway.. Her Peloton times just don't match up to PNW. I guess we will find out soon, though!

Some of her very old videos are still up and she has monetized them, her very first video is still up. That life is O.V.E.R.
She is still getting money from them probably.
She needs a part time job, some volunteering (maybe a dog shelter?) a few hours dedicated to something else that is not her feelings. She needs something to call her own, she needs to feel useful. Money is going to dry up and I honestly hope so for her, not to wish her bad but as a life lesson to gain some perspective, responsibility and maturity.
She needs to stop for a while, take a year off, take everything down!!! and start new if she really wants to make something out of YT. Use her time off to heal, to downsize, to reconsider her life. Watching her is painful and it's out there for everybody to see it!

I agree. And I think after she went to Utah last year she just assumed she could always go…. Until she was told “no, that was just for last year to help the kids with the transition to the new custody schedule as it pertains to summer.”
And she’s too much of a robot to actually give up her share of custody, no matter how much she hates having them.

She’s not incapable of making friends, she doesn’t want any. She’s a loner and a self proclaimed hermit. She could benefit from having a social life outside of her family but she chooses not to. She likes being alone. She’s not going to change. She’s proven that over the years.. -
.I want to see some real growth Jen, I'm tired of this never ending journey to find yourself. You won't find yourself relaxing for 2 days. It 's not necessary to go to Europe to escape from it all because YOU and your RAGE and eternal FRUSTRATION are the problem.

VirutalHug I think plenty of people in her life have told Jen she needs real therapy, talk and/or meds. I’m sure that she tells them she she knows where best for herself and then goes into a long winded lecture about how throughout history whenever a woman wanted to break from society’s status quote she was treated as a histrionic nut job.
Jen doesn’t understand that just because something is true, doesn’t mean it applies to her. From what she has shown and revealed about her life, she most certainly has real, long-standing mental health issues.
Again, I do think it’s sad how people with these issues are treated but she most certainly does not belong on social media at this point. It’s not good for her well-being.
