I’m just sitting here laughing about Don replacing Jen with someone who is essentially a cheese plate expert. Gotta level up those retirement home parties. And - look how long he put up with Jen, he’s not going anywhere. This marriage will last exactly as long as T wants it to.

I wonder if the supporting players know about their pet names and if so what they think of them. I am specially be interested in what Tensleigh thinks of her name but also gravy, weatherman etc. I’m going to assume that Shrill Jill, PK and TLO are not enthralled with their nicknames.

I have to agree in the balloons. They’re awful for the environment for a few hours of use. I only use them in moderation if a kid requests them for a party.
As for “the olds” paying. From what I’ve seen, a small charcuterie board, a small cake, some balloons, and vista print custom napkins it doesn’t look like a huge or expensive party. I’m guessing a dozen people max and under $1k. The balloons being the most expensive part lol

QUOTE (BarefootNightmares @ 15/8/2021, 19:14) Don has the confidence of a much less average man. It's off-putting. The confidence so many men get from their mommies that think they can do no wrong lol. Oh and add endless funds to the mix.

Personally not a fan of the balloon arches. But I guess it is better than whatever Jen would come up with. Ditto for the charcuterie board.

Balloon display and charcuterie board? It really is a retirement home there. It's got to sting a little to have pig killer and his husband giving shout outs to Jen 2.0. No wonder Jen fled the country. She knew this was coming.

QUOTE (SingHo!toDons2ndWife @ 15/8/2021, 20:16) Balloons are so wasteful. Especially at a party for supposedly one and a half full grown men. Can we please refer to them collectively as One and a Half Men from now on.
That made me choke on my pickled green beans.

With Jen I would agree but he looks so different to me now, in Tens' IG pic as well as the engagement pic that we once could access. He actually looks cocky and a bit egotistical (which some would say he already was given his view of others)... his smile reminds me of the cat who got the bird finally. Maybe it's new found love or maybe, now that he is free of Jen he feels differently about himself.

I found it interesting that the recent Heber City Hootenanny did not rate a full blown IG post from either of the alphabet soup gentlemen , only some disappearing IG stories. What do we call thisTM....curating?

Jens biggest problem, other than her inherent narcissism, is that she’s never not gotten her way until recently, and it turned her into a spoiled brat. I don’t think she has social anxiety at all. She films herself in public, drives into downtown Chicago with ease, travels alone, went to school in NYC, the list is endless. She just doesn’t know how to interact with people in a normal way, and much of that probably stems from running off whatever friends she had with her snooty brattiness. But in the past year she has learned that even she doesn’t always get what she wants and it’s upended here life to the point of spiraling so far down that she’s completely lost. She needs help, but her inner narcissistic brat won’t let allow her to admit that.

Agree, unless they deliberately wanted the party small but felt bad about some they couldn't invite...or maybe even Jen?... and decided to celebrate with a disappearing story instead of a post?
