It is interesting how people have moved on from her so quickly after her comeback. I never see her videos recommended in my feed anymore. There sems to be a lot of apathy towards her channel and news about her now which seems like a death knell for her YT career. I don't necessarily think her channel will completely die off but she won't get much attention anymore.
Also, why even bother with Tati beauty? She had 1 palette that they honest, non-PR, non weird fan girls/boys said that 2 rows sucked and 2 rows were good (but you can get good in lots of of brands). I remember one woman did a follow up 2 weeks after getting her palette and said that the binding agent in the glitters had dried up significantly so they didn't stick well. the mattes with glitter were crappy and many said the metallics were actually more of a sating finish. The sponge pad applicator thing bombed.. -

Taking the year off sucked all the momentum she had going with the palette release, and then she couldn’t follow up that palette with more products people wanted to buy. The lawsuits took whatever money she had, or whatever she can hide at this point. I think she wanted her income as low as possible to valuate the companies as low as possible for the lawsuits.
She is still getting views in the 5 figures but I feel like a lot of it is just either sentimental people who say she was one of their first makeup YouTubers, or people just there for the drama. I just can’t figure how relevant it is to make a video on Dollar Store makeup when she is clearly doing it just for a video idea rather than anything she would seriously wear. Who knows, maybe people do find it relevant?
The problem she has now is her age with drawing new customers. She isn’t the young TikTok crowd, and she isn’t old enough for the over-50 to do a Wayne Goss-type. The 30s/40s have too much makeup and don’t watch makeup videos or buy makeup like they used to. It’s a holding-pattern age group she’s in where she can’t draw new people who are looking for makeup tips like the under-30s or over-50s.. -

I don't she is broke but she did take a big hit. She had to sell a condo and probably other things. The lawyers are probably paid out of a corporate account since this is a business matter Her bitamin sales did really well right after the Bye Sisters video so that was a good year but I wouldn't be surprised if that boost declined and then leveled off to the rate of sales from before. She is one of the YTers that I think probably invested wisely so she could leave YT. Wouldn't be surprised if she left YT for the most part (maybe 2-3 videos per months) once her lawsuits are settled and she needs less cash infusions to pay for that.. -

In a recent video she said she had expected she'd be a mom by now and running her cosmetics company and function more as a CEO, but instead she said she feels like she went ten years backward. She talks often about crying a lot and feeling down. Doing all of these drugstore makeup video's IS so ten years ago for her, she has been there done that, she could branch out to other things that are more lifestyle oriented to not be so locked into makeup but she seems like she's in a funk. Desi Perkins has her own skincare line and sunglasses line and is a new mom, Katy has her clothing brand Thirty Years, Laura Lee has expanded from her makeup line to clothing items and into homeware, Manny MUA just did another release to his makeup line. Laura Lee and Manny have a podcast that they do together now too.. Those "old" Youtubers are evolving into other area's. Tati seems lost. Agree, she'll still have people watch her and there was a lot of hype that she was back. A lot of Youtubers were mentioning they were happy she was back but I'm not so sure she's all that excited to be back doing the old routine. . -

The lawyers were not paid out of the a corporate account when Tati and James Westbrook sued WOACB AKA Katie Joy back in Oct 2020 because Clark Swanson would not agree to allow Tati and James Westbrook to use to corporate account to pay those lawyer fees but Clark Swanson did agree to get Halo Beauty's corporate account to pay for those 4 cease and desist that were sent to KJ over 18 month period and I think that Clark Swanson was told WOACB that Tati and James Westbrook would never sue her and which is why KJ was always saying that until Tati and James Westbrook did officially filed that lawsuit against KJ.. -

I agree Edie, I wonder why she doesn't update her brows. I am not a Tati hater, in fact she was probably my favorite beauty YT'er before she got involved with J Star. I read so many of her loyal subs trying to warn her about him, but she moved forward anyway. I think she saw her involvement with him as something that would bring her more subs and exposure, and I guess it did... initially. It made me feel like she didn't care as much about her previous subs. As we all know that came back to bite her, big time.
I absolutely HATED the video she put out shortly before the lawsuit with WOACB. Was she used by J Star and Shane? Imo, yes, but she needed to take responsibility for her choices. I think she just viewed herself as a complete victim there.
I loved that she slapped WOACB with a lawsuit, she deserved it.
I do think Tati is hurting financially, at least compared to before. I don't know why she had to start 2 companies anyway. I don't see either of these surviving long term.

you're right Tati isn't doing as well financially has she has been in the past. I think that Tati and James Westbrook started Tati Beauty because it was a way to get away from Clark Swanson, IMO and to increase their ( Tati and James W profits)..
