Wow. So many thoughts going thru this Grandma brain. If I saw one of my precious granddaughters floating that far away from shore, at that age, with it without a life jacket….whatever parent allowed it would receive an ass whopping’ from me. That is neglect and that can get your child yanked from your custody. Jen, that means less child support, because that matters most to you. A loving mother does not risk her child like that. You’re a dumb ass and a bad mom!!!
I also don’t believe you were with “the fam” in Utah. I think Don gets them for a month straight and you are allowed a weekend visitation during that time. I’m I. The same state as you and that is pretty standard. I think the kids were there, you flew out and did that on your weekend. THEN, you flew to Europe and they went back to Don
This next part is purely an educated guess: I think the bracelet was a wedding gift for each of the little girls to wear to the wedding. I think Jen hid it

Her excuse is going to be that it’s very shallow far out (which it looks like it is from the burger boat and watching people in the background) but what Gene fails to consider is that even in very shallow water a child can easily drown and the time it takes for you to first notice they are in distress and then actually get to them before even beginning rescue measures can be the difference between a scary situation and a tragedy.
