Well, she says they could afford that home BECAUSE of all the penny-pinching she has done all these years, and I'd say there is truth to that. But yeah, the whole disability thing bothers me when she obviously found a way to work despite her health issues.
It's funny how she picks and chooses what she can "afford" to spend on. I remember she briefly considered living in Wisconsin but then refused to buy there because the property taxes were too high? But she can afford an $800K home that is so big there are numerous rooms they aren't even using? And she doesn't even like the kitchen, one of the rooms she uses the most, so she wants to redo it? That's even more money. It shouldn't surprise her that this would rub some of her subscribers the wrong way.
Poor Mike had to live 25 years not being allowed a simple pleasure of being able to eat name brand Cheerios (which he supposedly loves), and now they spend $800K on a house 3x bigger than they need? Yeah, totally logical.
Like I said before, imo she wanted to move so badly that she tossed aside most of her own good advice to make it happen.. -

I have a feeling that's a very chaotic household without structure. The kids are up all night (which is probably why Jill didn't want to live there), I think they're home schooled which is fine. But home schooling has to have a structure; some folks join a co-op so the kids meet up and have a sense of community. I don't think Tawra does that.
That kitchen is very nice and maybe they need to make some minor adjustments for videos but there's no reason for a tear down.Talk about waste. Figure out a way to get an overhead camera; that's a lot cheaper than a new kitchen.. -

I remember when they took their oldest son to doctors and specialists and finally even the Mayo Clinic, probably to get him on disability too, and the doctor at Mayo basically said he was lazy and needed to start sleeping at night and he’d be able to stay awake during the day. This was a grown young man living in their home who was whining about being tired all the time. That’s the kind of people they’re raising.
I think Tawra protests too much because she knows she’s a lazy grifter, but goes on the offensive about how tired she is or how hard her life is and her vague incurable illnesses to hide it. We see you Tawra, you never created a single recipe, you use stock photos of other people food on your website and social media and most of the things you actually try to cook on a live, you set on fire or it fails. Turn the self righteous act down a notch girl, we know what you are.. -
