Good point. I’m only 3 hours away so still was able to take my kid throughout the year.

I go alone all the time. I have a friend with whom I stayed 4 weeks this year, once she could get here from Canada. All my other trips there 2-3 times a week were alone. When I did not live in FL, I still came a few times a year, alone. Plus business trips. And I even had friends back then.

I wish, but I have waited 3 weeks and it is only step one. Hopefully it will lead to step 2 in 3-4 weeks and I will be in a lot less pain.

I don’t know how she could take the kids, solo, and do the race. She will need to be up at 2:30 or so to get ready and get on the bus to race start, unless she drives a rental. Even so, she will need to be there well before the ass crack of dawn. Who would be willing to babysit for her at the hotel? Who would help her schlep the children (think of the children) into and thru the airport at home and out of MCO? Plus feed her breakfast whilst waiting for the flight? Technically she san fly in Saturday and home Sunday, she will be done by 8am if not sooner.

I'm tired of her using COVID for an excuse. Is she quarantining from those kids 2-4 weeks after these "jaunts" to make sure they don't get the Rona? If not her excuse is BS.
Just when you think she can't stoop any lower as a person and Mom..she proves you wrong. Her lack of interest as a parent is disgusting.
