I would understand going for the race by herself, if she took her kids another time. But no, they only get to go to Utah. How can they do that and not Disney?

I hope her viewers give her hell for this. Absolute total hell. She deserves nothing less. And I hope her day is ruined knowing the bakery ruined another smug surprise of hers.

I remember back when she was having the knee issue, because I knew the entire time it was an IT Band issue and not her knee at all. (I have done more than 50 half marathons, and a dozen marathons and ultramarathons. Not a single one at Disney.) And I remember wondering what kind of PT she was going to and why she was not seeing a sports med doctor/physiologist, and why she wasn’t in a running group, because almost everyone in my running group has had an IT band thing and we all know how to treat/prevent it BECAUSE so many of us have gotten it and we all know the symptoms because new runners immediately think it’s their knee and those of us who know, know that pain in that specific spot isn’t knee.
Holy run on sentence, Batman. Anyway, the long and short of it is that she needed to strengthen her butt muscles by doing squats and lunges and hip thrusts and clam shells, and there’s an exercise that my running group does as a group now because of all the IT band issues, that specifically targets the gluteus medius. Bam, no more IT band issues in our group.
I cannot believe she’s at Disney without the kids. The Jenions will all praise her bravery and say they wish they could do Disney alone too, but I think this one is going to turn a few. If anyone needed convincing that this woman is completely checked out of being a mother, this is it.

Then there’s the issue of her shins, which AFAIK is a heel strike issue. I went to PT for the same thing, it was a relatively quick fix.
She’s either a non-compliant PITA or her PT is a hack.
