I know some people may think I am overreacting but Jen considering getting a motorcycle is definitely one of her worst and most irresponsible WHIMS yet
You know how many experienced motorcyclists get in accidents every year? it is soooo dangerous
Like it's perfectly fine to want to pick up new and exciting hobbies later in life, why is Jen continually choosing hobbies that are dangerous?
(( ETA: my dad has been a biker for over 40 years and I owned a motorcycle for a while myself. Rode with him often when I was a kid. Just don't want anyone to think I'm a pearl clutcher )). -

Can confirm. I have seen things that just cannot be unseen. Just unbelievably tragic. Even if the motorcyclist does everything correctly - sometimes it just doesn’t matter. The oncoming vehicle, the telephone pole, the sudden change in weather, these things are all stronger and they will win.
Not to say it isn’t fun. My dad used to have one and I loved it. I would have loved to learn to ride. I’m probably fortunate that he decided to sell it before I was old enough to learn.. -
