I didn’t even think of the money, they are just in such short supply here because of Omicron that doing one on a whim seemed so wasteful.
(We can usually just pick up boxes of 5 for free at a pharmacy or have them delivered to us. I didn’t know they had such a high value!)
I was thinking the same thing. We have 5 antigen tests that were given to my kid at school and we’re a family of four. We can’t even get PCR tested here right now unless we’re a part of certain eligible groups. It seems crazy to me to waste tests that we can’t even get out hands on in other countries!
She was definitely the woman who took 47 first response tests a month when trying to get pregnant. Any reason to shop!. -

What is her deal about being judged for having Covid.
Hundreds of thousands of people are getting it DAILY. The new variant is EXTREMELY contagious.
We’re judging you for being a liar and a shit mother and voluntarily going to superspreader events to serve your own ego when you have an unvaccinated child who could spread to unvaccinated children and put other (ex) family members at risk.
Am I the only one who remembers her railing at Erin Condren to “do better” with regard to her privilege about this virus?

Because she was one of the people who judged HARD when she heard people had it. Now that it hit them, suddenly it’s just a virus. She’d still be on her high horse about it otherwise (nevermind that she’s not the bastion of carefulness like she thinks she is). . -

She feels the at home tests are not accurate. Like the doctor saying the sonogram showed a girl and she went to the 3D place because the doctor was wrong. She was wrong not to have Winnie shaved for spay, but when she got the infection she probably blamed the doctor that did the surgery. . -

What I don’t understand: is she symptomatic or not? Because if she isn’t, why is she in disbelief that she doesn’t have it?
Or is she questioning that the kids actually did have it?. -

I live in illinois and the home tests are about $24 for a box of 2. However, if you need any treatment or something for work, they don't count. They also don't count if you need one to travel. There is a hometest that you can order online and you schedule a Facetime/Zoom with them and they watch you swab yourself and they wait online for the results and they email you them. They work for travel, not sure about traetment. Those are around $60 for 2 tests. The home test that Jen did is good if you want to know that you have it, if a family member has it or if you were recently exposed. They are pretty available at most pharmacies now.. -
