Heidelberg will offer the backdrop for one of the toughest and most beautiful marathon races in Germany this October. On the 42-kilometer course, which mostly leads over uneven forest paths and trails, the participants have to climb 1,500 heights and climb three peaks. The ultimate challenge: After 35 kilometers, the route takes you across the heavenly ladder, a 850-step sandstone staircase leading up to the king’s chair.

It's astounding how Jen doesn't even ATTEMPT to be fun for her kids. Let's say she has them Fourth of July weekend. I would assume that Tens is planning some sort of pool blowout party, with tons of treats, and centered around the park district fireworks (or whatever). Of course the kids would be sad to miss that, especially with their step-sibs and cousins talking about it. So one would think that since Jen doesn't have a pool or any sort of community, that she would be like "Surprise kids! We are going to Great Wolf Lodge for Fourth of July!" or something like that.
But we all know the real plan would be the park during the day, maybe a smore for dessert, and then bed/bath by 8pm (before fireworks). It's so confounding.. -

So during her prime on her channel, she made it seem (editing!) like her and the rosses were the best of friends. She made a lot of effort in certain ways. Sometimes over the top:
-put together all of Emily’s baby furniture in Utah. (And broke the side table lol)
-made cookies and decorated in Utah before everyone got there.
-stockings
-made desserts or appetizers THE SAME ONES YEAR AFTER YEAR
-hosted holidays
-did the baby shower things
-bought Nieces expensive gifts and clothes
-etc.
But she also-
-would hide in her loftice saying everyone was “doing their own thing” and she wanted to get “work” done.
-escape to the lobby of the hotel during her trip with Emily and Suzanne saying she wakes up early and didn’t want to wake up anyone.
-stays behind at the house while Don goes to hang out with friends.
-goes back to the house while Don and the men play poker.
-is late to many ross events because she paints her nails last minute and records her near breakdowns over pies.
I think they put on a happy face and tolerated Gene for a long time, for their son. I think they eventually began rolling their eyes at her dishes she brought, the filming constantly, the passive aggressive comments, letting her do the stockings and busy projects to GIVE HER SOMETHING TO DO. Once the divorce happened they didn’t have to pretend anymore. She’s surprised at the mass exodus, but they had been fed up with her for a long time in my opinion.. -

That was absolutely crazy watching her buy the cookies (along with cake and drinks), not be able to finish them all her herself (like some sort of food hoarder) and then that being the only reason they were brought home for the kids and then bestowing them upon her children in a ceremonial fashion like a queen and they’re her peasants who should be so grateful to enjoy this momentous occasion.
Even a halfway sane person would just buy a cookie or two and then eat them or not but to buy too much just to try them is so gluttonous. All that pomp and circumstance around food for so long, especially when she first buys all the food for herself, is like a junkie getting their next high. Although I suppose food is her drug “of choice” so the comparison fits.. -
