It’s super weird to me that they keep their snacks and food separate. When my family takes trips together we usually take turns cooking. But we go to the store to get everything at once and split it evenly amongst families. The potato bar was a good idea IMO but I would have paired it with some grilled chicken and a side salad. One potato and a scoop of peach “cobbler” would not fill anyone in my family up. Especially if we had been swimming and outdoors exerting energy all day. I would love to see what the other family members made for their meal and if it was more substantial. You would think two adults living in mom and dads basement could afford to splurge on one nice meal for family

I often find her menu choices odd and not in keeping with the seasons. Peaches are divine this time of year - why not serve fresh sliced peaches over vanilla ice cream instead of baking a cake with canned peaches? And I would have served a pile of corn on the cob with that baked potato bar.

What a great time to use the crockpots she has, cook several, shred, bag and bring. Isn’t she the wueen of food prep???

I haven’t watched that video yet, but I watched the beginning of the one where she made sloppy joes. Three cups of ketchup (that’s 150 grams of sugar or 3/4 cup) plus, she added more sugar. I find American recipes in general contain way too much sugar so I usually halve it or eliminate it altogether, but Kimmy takes it to a whole other level. And Deric has diabetes or pre diabetes? Why am I not surprised.

Haven't watched her in a long time and was shocked at how much weight she had lost. Was also very surprised to see that she is still living in her inlaws basement. what happened to the saving for a homestead and moving in? Think it was just an excuse.. that small space they live in and the food hoarding is taking up so much space and she still manages to go for a shop

That recent video (about building a one month storage) was so wacky, she was all over the place! Talking like such a goofball.

She was all over the place with that video wasn't she? It's easy to create a emergency food storage box with you literally have a small grocery store. I still don't believe she had weight loss surgery with all the bread, pasta and sweets she eats. I have a close friend who has gastric sleeve and if she even tries two little bites of bread and gets violent ill and throwing up for hours. Kimmy's probably doing WW like Sarah from Our Tribe of Many. Sponsored of course.

I didn't know about sonobello, thanks for the link. After reading about it, I think it's exactly what Kimmy had done.
Crap, I wasn't finished. Anyway, I noticed how she only had a TINY portion of peach cobbler and ice cream at Bear Lake. She's really going strong with tiny portions.

Hey, I just revisited the Bear Lake video and did y'all notice the little bit of butter and small container of sour cream at the end of the baked potato bar line? My family alone would use that much and we're a small family! I think Kimmy's bunch makes potatoes kinda like a salad-topped potato with ranch dressing. Cool, but not everyone does that. Some people (me) are purists and want the sour cream and melted butter (drool)!
