Yikes. It's not good to have zero friends outside of your family. This will lead to trying to turn family relationships into friendships, which isn't healthy. Your parents, your children, and your brother can't fill that void that only friendships can.
Your kids need to see both of their parents engaging with friends.

Uh... Jen? If you keep trying to make friendships and have been for decades now and they always “fall flat” or people leave after only a little bit or there’s a falling out and they stop being your friend or there’s a “mass exodus” and the list could go on and on, you’re probably not going about it in the right way or in an even 10% genuine way. It’s good you’re focusing on a relationship with yourself right now because that’s the only person that will continue to put up with you.
