Yes, I imagine the sales person said something said something like, “This truck is in high demand. In fact we have a ‘few’ other offers on it. You might want to get in there while you can. And besides at least it’s not $75,000, it’s only $55,000.
Jen “what a great deal! Let’s do it!”
Meanwhile there were no other offers. The sales person was just trying to create a sense of interest and urgency.
The other trick is offering a higher alternative price against a lower price gives a perception of a deal. When in fact the lower price was the price all along.
She’s not a good dealmaker. That’s like Don saying he made a “good deal” with RM1. When in fact he bought it at the high point of the market and actually lost money when it sold.

Not only is the vehicle ugly like I already said, but she’s going to quickly regret buying black exterior and interior. And leather.
She’s going to bake alive camping inside a black vehicle. Why do you think campers have white roofs? Dirt going to show everywhere. And hot / cold leather seats.
