Correct me if I’m wrong but isn’t Wednesday traditionally a school day? The fact that she bought an entire dozen for three kids and two adults (and my personal opinion that one donut is not enough breakfast) leads me to believe the kids ate more than one before being shuttled off to school.
I’m not sure but I’m pretty sure teachers would trade kids who came to school having eaten a reasonable breakfast instead of showing up with sugar highs at 9AM for all the stupid shit lemon gifts them at every opportunity.
