Not taking the kids to NYC to see the Rockettes and do things is ridiculous. I am from NYC but now live on the West Coast. I have traveled back to NYC since my two kids were babies a few times each year, many times alone. It's not hard to do when you want to spend time with your kids to travel with them. I always do the tourist stuff with my kids. It's fun for them and me. She doesn't want to be bothered with them. She travels to escape a pitiful life. She has nothing and she is pushing those kids away without knowing it. A few years they will ask to live with their Dad full time.

As usual, Jen is not thinking things through and it will come back to bite her in the ample ass, like so many other selfish decisions in her life.
Now is the time to do things with her kids, like visit NYC at Christmas time, because they will find it fun and will want to do it and be around her. Very soon, the kids will see Jen for the loser that she is and they will embarrassed to be seen with her, or they will hate spending time with her, after years of making them feel like a burden to her.
Get used to being alone and miserable, Jen. It’s where all your selfishness, especially about your kids, will lead you.
